DGA Statement on Kim Reynolds' Final Condition of the State Address

DGA Communications Director Sam Newton released the following statement ahead of Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds' final Condition of the State address this evening:

"No matter what Kim Reynolds says tonight, Iowans know that she's leaving the state worse off than when she found it. Aside from being the most unpopular governor in the country, Reynolds leaves behind a disastrous record that includes a failing economy, underfunded schools, widespread government corruption, one of the highest cancer rates in the nation, and an extreme abortion ban. This year, Iowans have the opportunity to elect a new governor who will actually put them first - but the Republicans running for governor have proven they will only continue the dysfunctional and corrupt status quo that has left working families behind. Iowans are ready for change and we look forward to holding the entire GOP field accountable for their failures."
