Al Sauer Named President and CEO of Regional Rail, LLC

Al Sauer, co-founder of Regional Rail, LLC, was named President and CEO of the company on May 1, 2017. Al previously held the position of Chief Commercial Officer at Regional Rail, LLC, after holding similar positions at RailAmerica and OmniTRAX and beginning his career with Canadian Pacific Railway.

Bob Parker, the other co-founder of Regional Rail, LLC, who had held the positions of President and CEO since the company's inception, announced his intention to retire after nearly forty years in the industry with the RF&P Railroad (later CSX), RailAmerica and OmniTRAX. Bob will remain as Chariman Emeritus, involved with the company on strategic initiatives and projects going forward.
