NEW YORK, New York - July 29, 2026 - The Growth Equity business at Goldman Sachs Alternatives ("Goldman Sachs") today announced that its portfolio company, Canoe Intelligence ("Canoe"), a leading AI-powered data management and intelligence platform for automating private markets, has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Bloomberg.

Goldman Sachs Alternatives led Canoe's $36 million Series C financing round in July 2024. Since that investment, Canoe has rapidly scaled its AI-driven technology platform to automate the collection, extraction, and delivery of alternative investment data. Today, Canoe processes over 1.5 million documents per month across more than 44,000 funds, delivering structured, portfolio-ready insights to over 500 institutional clients representing more than $11 trillion in assets under service.

The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals. Jefferies LLC acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Canoe. Cooley LLP served as legal counsel to Canoe and K&L Gates LLP served as legal counsel to Goldman Sachs Alternatives.
