Greetings to employees and veteran workers of the IL-Aviastar branch

The message reads, in part:

"The establishment of your enterprise was of strategic importance both for the domestic aviation industry and the country as a whole. In just a few years, thanks to the dedication of builders and highly qualified specialists from across the Soviet Union, it grew into a major industrial centre, combining extensive production facilities with social and transport infrastructure. Equally important was the emergence of a talented workforce of engineers, designers and skilled workers who made a substantial contribution to the development of Russian aircraft manufacturing.

Throughout its history, the enterprise has worked with dedication, upheld the highest standards of quality, embraced innovative technologies and bold engineering solutions, and successfully produced both passenger airliners and military transport aircraft.

Today, you proudly carry forward the legacy of your predecessors. You continue to strengthen the company's production capabilities, human resources, and intellectual potential, successfully implement advanced technological solutions, and manufacture modern, reliable civilian and military aircraft that are highly in demand. You are actively involved in the implementation of a broad range of promising projects.

I am confident that the IL-Aviastar branch will continue to fulfil its objectives successfully, contribute to strengthening Russia's technological sovereignty and competitiveness in the global aviation industry, and play an important role in the continued economic development of the Ulyanovsk Region."
