YUMA, Ariz. -The City of Yuma is inviting residents to complete an online survey, add comments on an interactive map, and attend public meetings - held both virtually and in person - to help develop a Road Safety Action Plan (RSAP). The plan will identify and prioritize improvements and outline strategies to reduce serious injury and fatal crashes for all roadway users, whether traveling by car, bicycle, bus, commercial vehicle, on foot, or using personal mobility devices.
Residents can access the survey, interactive map, and meeting registration at https://bit.ly/3ItMYdx. The survey and map will remain open through Monday, November 3, 2025.
The first public meeting will be held virtually on Monday, October 20, 2025, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., offering participants the opportunity to learn more about the plan, ask questions, and share feedback. Additional in-person outreach meetings will follow at community locations, with dates and sites to be announced.
"Safety on our roadways is a responsibility we all share," said Steve Wilson, Assistant Director of Engineering. "By taking the survey, providing comments on the interactive map, or attending public meetings, residents can play an important role in shaping the City's approach to safer roads for everyone."
