LECOM Again Recognized in U.S. News & World Report Best Graduate Schools 2026 Rankings

ERIE, PA -- Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) has once again earned recognition in U.S. News & World Report's Best Graduate Schools 2026 rankings, released today. The recognition reaffirms LECOM's standing as a national leader in producing physicians who serve primary care and rural communities across the country.

In the most recent Best Graduate Schools rankings, LECOM ranked 23rd in the nation for both Most Graduates Practicing in Primary Care and Most Graduates Serving Rural Areas among 170 accredited medical schools. These rankings underscore the institution's mission-driven approach to medical education. LECOM was also ranked 85th for Most Graduates Practicing in Medically Needy Areas.
