U.S. Route 63 northbound ramps at Grindstone Parkway to close April 20

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The northbound on- and off-ramps at U.S. Route 63 and Boone County Route AC (Grindstone Parkway)/New Haven Road are scheduled to close Monday, April 20, as part of the interchange improvements at U.S. Route 63 and Grindstone Parkway.

The closures will allow contractor crews working with the Missouri Department of Transportation to construct the new northbound loop on-ramp and connect the new northbound off-ramp. Both new ramps are expected to open at the end of June.

Impacts to the southbound ramps at the interchange are not expected during this construction, though drivers may experience delays. Motorists should remain alert for changing traffic patterns at the interchange.

Currently, East New Haven Road is closed from just east of the U.S. Route 63 northbound on- and off-ramps to the new alignment of Lenoir Street and a portion of Lemone Industrial Boulevard is closed where it joins East New Haven Road. These roadways closed in March 2026 for electrical work, drainage improvements, roadway widening/reconstruction, and the addition of two new traffic signals on New Haven Road to improve traffic flow.

East New Haven Road, Lemone Industrial Boulevard and both new northbound ramps are expected to open at the end of June. All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
