ICANN Contractual Compliance Launches Monthly Open Data Download Files

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is pleased to announce the publication of Open Data Download files for ICANN Contractual Compliance's monthly metrics. Beginning with the September 2025 reporting cycle, Contractual Compliance will release the underlying data for its monthly dashboard in a downloadable, machine-readable format. The files for the months September through November 2025 are now available on the Contractual Compliance reports page.

This new resource is part of ICANN's ongoing commitment to transparency and to supporting the community's ability to review, interpret, and build upon ICANN Contractual Compliance's reporting. Each month, alongside the metrics dashboard and narrative report, ICANN will publish a corresponding CSV file that contains the raw data used to generate the published charts and tables.

The Open Data Download file allows users to work directly with the data behind Contractual Compliance's activities for the month. This includes information on complaints received, processing stages, closure reasons, and other key operational indicators. Providing the raw data supports a range of uses. Community members can generate customized reports, track trends over time, combine the data with other sources for research projects, or create visualizations tailored to their specific needs. By offering direct access to the monthly dataset used to produce the published metrics, ICANN aims to facilitate greater clarity around how Contractual Compliance carries out its work and how complaint-related activity evolves over time.

The September 2025 file marks the start of this recurring publication. Future monthly Open Data Download files will be added to the same location as they become available. ICANN encourages contracted parties, community groups, researchers, and other stakeholders to explore the data and incorporate it into their work.
