2025-09-16 Rose Street and Buda Water Works - City Council

This notice informs residents that the Buda City Council will hold a public hearing on Tues., September 16, 2025, at 6 p.m. in the City Council Chambers.

The hearing will consider requests for:

• A Zoning Map Amendment from Form District 3H (F3H) to Form District 4H (F4H) for a property located at 201 Rose Street. An amendment from F3H to F4H would allow the property to be used for a broader range of building types than what is currently permitted.
• A Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment from House Scale Mixed-Use (1-2 story) to Residential Mixed-Use (2-3 story) for a property located at 201 Rose Street.
• A Specific Use Permit allowing the build of a full-service car wash within the Interstate-35 Business (B-3) District and the Gateway Corridor (O-G) Overlay, for a property known as Main Street East Commercial Subdivision, located at 209 E Main Street.
