Deluzio Statement on House FISA Reauthorization Vote

WASHINGTON, D.C. - After the vote in the United States House of Representatives to reauthorize the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 (FISA), Congressman Chris Deluzio (PA-17) released the following statement.

"Our Constitution and the Fourth Amendment are not polite suggestions.

"They demand that our government respect our liberty and right to be free from government surveillance and spying on our communications without a warrant.

"Just as I did when Joe Biden was President, I opposed a bill extending FISA for a simple reason: it would not put an end to violations of Americans' liberty."
