In a recent interview on Fox News, John James praised Republican leadership for "keeping prices low," as gas prices skyrocket and Michigan families struggle to make ends meet.
Gas prices in Michigan have jumped 46 cents from a week ago to $5 a gallon, the cost of everyday goods is squeezing families at the grocery store, and Republicans' cost-raising agenda is driving the pain - but James is continuing to pander to Trump at all costs.

"Every Michigander who is filling up their tank knows John James is a pathetic and out-of-touch liar - and Donald Trump and Republicans in DC like him are to blame for skyrocketing costs," said DGA Communications Director Sam Newton. "Michiganders need a governor who will put them first, but James and every Republican running for governor care more about pandering to Trump than standing up to these cost-hiking economic policies."
