Stage 1 Fire Restrictions Begin April 2 in Santa Fe National Forest

Stage 1 Fire Restrictions will go into effect in the Santa Fe National Forest on Thursday, April 2, and are expected to remain in place through September 30.

The restrictions are being implemented to reduce the risk of human-caused wildfires during the upcoming fire season. Residents and visitors are encouraged to stay informed about what activities are permitted under Stage 1 restrictions and to follow all guidelines while recreating in forest areas.
