Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus I.Sekreta takes part in Belarusian-Russian inter-ministerial consultations

On 11 August 2026, the Belarusian-Russian inter-ministerial consultations at the level of Deputy Foreign Ministers took place in Moscow. The Belarusian delegation was led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Igor Sekreta, whilst the Russian delegation was led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergei Ryabkov.

The parties discussed a wide range of areas of cooperation between Belarus and Russia on countering 'legal aggression', mutual support in the field of international justice, and the implementation of international treaties and documents concluded between the two countries on these issues.

The participants in the consultations exchanged views on the situation in the region and the world, as well as on approaches to pressing issues on the multilateral agenda.
