DGA spokesperson Kevin Donohoe released the following statement on the Georgia gubernatorial debate:

"Tonight, Keisha Lance Bottoms made clear that she is the only candidate in this race who has the deep knowledge to bring down costs and make a positive difference in Georgians' lives. Onstage, she connected with voters and powerfully laid out how, as governor, she will expand Medicaid, make Georgia more affordable, and fight back against Donald Trump's cost-raising agenda."

"This debate was a complete and utter disaster for Rick Jackson. Jackson proved just how out-of-touch he is with Georgia voters on everything from health care to job cuts to Donald Trump - so out of touch that he calls a gas station a 'gas store.' He wasn't just awkward, he proved that he has no plan to expand health care and make Georgia more affordable."
