DGA spokesperson Kevin Donohoe released the following statement on the Maryland gubernatorial debate:

"On the debate stage tonight, Governor Wes Moore wiped the floor with MAGA conspiracy theorist Dan Cox - who made it abundantly clear that he belongs nowhere near the governor's mansion. Governor Moore delivers for Maryland, and tonight he showcased how he has reduced violent crime to a historic low, cut the teacher vacancy rate in half, and lowered taxes for working families. In contrast, Cox couldn't defend his own extreme agenda and support for Donald Trump's disastrous policies that are driving up costs at every turn. Cox proved exactly why he is wrong for Maryland, and made a clear case for four more years of the Moore administration."
