Join the Civic Dialogues Program for a panel and dinner discussion, "Who Speaks for the Nation? A Panel and Dialogue Dinner on the Vice Presidency and Representation."
The event will take place on Thursday, March 19, from 5:15 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. in Sensenbrenner Hall 304 (Eisenberg Reading Room). Free Ian's Pizza will be served. To get an accurate headcount for pizza, Civic Dialogues requests those interested in attending register online. Additional details about the event are available on the signup form.
The evening will feature a lively discussion on the role of the American vice presidency and broader questions about political representation. Panelists will explore how the office has transformed over time and what it reveals about who speaks for the nation. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in small-group discussions following the panel.
