Financial Education Workshop Series for Small Businesses by Cambridge Savings Bank

Are you a Cambridge entrepreneur or small business owner? Do you want to grow your business? Get expert help by participating in the Financial Education workshop series for small businesses!

The Community Development Department partners with Cambridge Savings Bank to offer a four-week financial education program for entrepreneurs. Workshops are facilitated by Financial Education Specialist, Eddy Desir. He will guide small business owners and entrepreneurs to develop good financial plans and make good financial decisions. These workshops happen on Thursdays in October from 6:00 - 7:30p online with Zoom.

Workshop topics are:

Cash Flow (Thursday, October 2)

  • How can focusing on cash flow help your business grow?
  • How can improving your cash flow help you get financing for your business?
  • What tools can help in managing cash flow?

Credit (Thursday, October 9)

  • What factors impact credit scores the most?
  • How essential is credit to a small business?
  • How does having a good credit score benefit your business?

Financing (Thursday, October 16)

  • Why is getting financing critical to the initial and long-term success of your business?
  • What documents will most lenders request before providing financing for your business?
  • What tools and other resources can help you stay organized and efficient?

Marketing (Thursday, October 23)

  • How will marketing help your business?
  • How can tracking your marketing results help increase your business sales and revenue?
  • Which marketing platforms are best for broadening your target market?

Free and open to all. If over-enrolled, Cambridge entrepreneurs will be prioritized. Registration is required. Click here to register.
