The Macomb County Office of Senior Services will host its 34th annual Senior Fun Festival on Thursday, September 25 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Lorenzo Cultural Center located at 44575 Garfield Road in Clinton Township. Recognized as Macomb County's largest senior expo, the Senior Fun Festival is intended to serve as an opportunity for seniors and caregivers to learn about services and community resources to help enrich their lives.
"It's always an honor to take part in the Senior Fun Festival," said Macomb County Executive Mark Hackel, who will be returning to serve as the master of ceremonies for this year's event. "Each year, the festival brings together more than 1,000 seniors and their caregivers for a morning filled with connection and celebration. It's one of the most rewarding events we host, and we're proud to support them in such a meaningful way."
This free event will include:
"Our goal is to help Macomb County residents age in place and events like the Senior Fun Festival help ensure they have the tools and connections to do just that," said Sheila Cote, director of the Macomb County Office of Senior Services. "We look forward to welcoming attendees and helping them discover the services and resources available to support healthy aging.
