DNC Congratulates Aaron Ford on His Victory in the Nevada Gubernatorial Primary Arrow

The DNC congratulates Attorney General Aaron Ford on winning the Democratic nomination to be the next governor of Nevada. Democratic voters throughout the state backed candidates like Ford who are focused on lowering costs, protecting healthcare, creating good-paying jobs, supporting small businesses, and fighting for working families. Democrats are fired up to elect him because he will be a governor for every Nevadan.

In response to Attorney General Aaron Ford's victory, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:

"As a public school teacher, accomplished state senator, and dedicated attorney general, Aaron Ford has always fought for the people. Since becoming the first Black attorney general in Nevada history, he has taken on special interests and been a champion for working families. While Trump's cost-raising agenda has inflicted real harm on families throughout Nevada, Ford will fight to bring down the cost of living, expand access to healthcare, keep communities safe, make housing more affordable, protect workers, and invest in public education. The DNC is ready to help organize and mobilize voters to elect Ford as the next governor of Nevada."
