Various lane and ramp closures on I-70 near the Stadium Dr Bridge in Jackson County, April 27-May 1

JACKSON COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct various lane and ramp closures on I-70 near the Stadium Drive Bridge for bridge painting operations. All work is weather permitting. See below for traffic modifications:

Mon., April 27 until Fri., May 1 overnight between approx. 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

  • Crews will close the two right lanes on eastbound and westbound I-70 at the Stadium Dr Bridge.
  • Crews will close the left two lanes on northbound Blue Ridge Cutoff starting near 41st Terrence to the westbound I-70 ramp.
  • Crews will close the ramp from Blue Ridge Cutoff to westbound I-70.
  • Crews will conduct lane closures on northbound and southbound I-435 to I-70 eastbound.

Motorists are advised to plan ahead and be vigilant of work in the area. All work is weather permitting. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
