BOSTON - Today, as Governor Healey took bold steps to increase energy resources for our communities, Massachusetts Democratic Party Chair Steve Kerrigan released the following statement calling out the Republican candidates' plans to weaken our grid and drive up rates:

"The Republican candidates for Governor are making clear that they stand with Donald Trump and his disastrous energy policy. Just like President Trump, they want to take American sources of energy like wind and solar off the table, killing jobs and increasing costs in the process. Governor Healey is the only candidate in this race who is embracing an all-of-the-above approach to energy and taking action to increase supply and lower energy bills."
