Buie Named TFBF Treasurer

Chris Buie, operations manager for Farmers Service, has been named Tennessee Farm Bureau Federation treasurer. The announcement was made earlier in the year by TFBF board of directors, and Buie has officially assumed the role as of October 1.

"Chris is a seasoned leader and employee within this organization," said Eric Mayberry, TFBF president. "We are thrilled for him to take on this role and the great work he will no doubt accomplish."

Buie has a degree in accounting from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and a master's degree in accounting from Middle Tennessee State University. He is a certified public accountant and has been a key member of the Farmers Service team for the past fifteen years serving as the technology systems manager before being named operations manager in 2021. Buie is a Columbia native and resides with his wife, Leigh, in Santa Fe with their two young boys.
