Moss/MacArthur Intersection Detour Route Map
Beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5, the intersection of W. Moss Avenue and N. MacArthur Highway will close to all traffic. The closure is necessary as part of the Moss Avenue - Sheridan Road to Western Avenue - Reconstruction Project, and is expected to last three weeks, weather permitting.
Drivers should utilize all marked detour routes. Drivers should use caution in the area and be mindful of these closures. The use of alternative routes is advised.
Road Closures

W. Moss Avenue will be closed to through traffic between N. Garfield Avenue and N. Duryea Place.

ONLY RESIDENTIAL TRAFFIC will be permitted on W. Moss Avenue between N. Garfield Avenue and N. Duryea Place.

Access to N. Moss Avenue Terrace and the 900-1200 blocks of W. Moss Avenue will be maintained.

Alley access between W. Bradley Avenue and W. Moss Avenue from N. University Street will be maintained.

N. MacArthur Highway will be closed to through traffic between W. John H. Gwynn Jr. Avenue and W. Bradley Avenue.

MacArthur Highway Traffic

Southbound through traffic on N. MacArthur Highway should utilize Main Street to S.W. Monroe Street to W. Romeo B. Garrett Avenue to N. Richard Pryor Place to Jefferson Avenue.

Northbound through traffic on N. MacArthur Highway should utilize Hurlburt Street to N. Richard Pryor Place to W. Romeo B. Garrett Avenue to S.W. Monroe Street to Main Street.
