Super Skate Posse and New Brunswick Partner Up for 5th Annual Community Giveback

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (June 16, 2026) - The City of New Brunswick, the Arts Institute of Middlesex County, and the Super Skate Posse will host the fifth-annual Community Giveback and Block Party on June 20, from noon to 3 p.m.

The free public event will transform Livingston Avenue into a skateboarding venue featuring portable ramps, professional lessons, and live music by local artists Kayla Childs and Marissa Paternoster.

Organizers will distribute 100 free skateboards featuring custom artwork, along with helmets and shoes, to registered local youth.

In tandem with the skate activities, the Arts Institute will host free public arts programming at the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center at 9 Livingston Ave.

Activities include printmaking workshops led by Mike and Tom Stark, magazine-making with Audrey Griffin, and outdoor temporary-tattoo screen printing by Kath Yarkosky. Artwork by Paternoster will also be on display.
