Buckeye police raise largest donation yet for breast cancer awareness

BUCKEYE, AZ (December 18, 2025): Buckeye police raised $11,768 during the 2025 Pink Patch Project effort, the largest amount ever raised by the department. The annual campaign aims to raise breast cancer awareness. Buckeye police delivered a check last week to Bosom Buddies of Arizona, a nonprofit providing breast cancer support, education and advocacy.

The 2025 fundraiser was a great success thanks to our caring community! Every October, Buckeye police join law enforcement agencies across the country to participate in the Pink Patch Project. During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the department sells special edition uniform patches, coins and t-shirts with all proceeds benefiting those battling breast cancer.
