Cary, N.C. - The Town of Cary invites residents and community members to attend Mayor Harold Weinbrecht's 2026 State of Cary address on Thursday, March 5 at Cary Town Hall. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and the address will begin at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers, followed by an opportunity for attendees to ask questions.
"This is an important opportunity to reflect on the progress we've made together and to share where we're headed as a community," said Mayor Weinbrecht. "Transparency and open communication are priorities for Council, so I'm especially excited that, for the first time, we'll be livestreaming the address to make it even more accessible to citizens. By making it easier for everyone to stay informed and engaged, we're strengthening the trust and collaboration that help make Cary one of the very best places to live in the country."

For those unable to attend in person, the event will be cablecast live on Cary TV (Spectrum cable channel 11) and livestreamed at carync.tv as well as the Town's Facebook and YouTube channels. A previously recorded version of the 2026 address, including accompanying slides, is also available to watch any time at carync.gov/stateofcary.
The Mayor presents the State of Cary to various groups throughout the year. Community organizations are invited to request a State of Cary presentation by submitting a request through the Town's website.
