Mediacorp-Singapore celebrates global stories at the 2025 ATF x Mediacorp Co-Production Pitch

Mediacorp and the Asia TV Forum & Market (ATF) have announced the winners of the 2025 ATF x Mediacorp Co-Production Pitch, following a strong debut last year. Launched in August 2025, the competition received 75 eligible entries from 21 countries, including regional markets such as India, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand and Malaysia, as well as entries from Australia, Canada, Germany, Poland, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Uzbekistan.

Five shortlisted teams presented their ideas at a closed-door live pitching session held at ATF 2025 at Marina Bay Sands. The projects were assessed by a panel of well-known industry leaders: Virginia Lim (Chief Content Officer, Mediacorp), Angie Chai (Chairman and CEO, Mission International; creator of Meteor Garden流星花园), Sheena Liu (President, TVBS Media Inc) and Peter Choe (CEO, Blintn, a global B2B content database serving over 1,600 companies in more than 80 countries). Two winning projects were selected, each receiving a $10,000 cash prize and the opportunity to be considered for co-production with Mediacorp.

The winning titles were Blood Pact from Japanese production company Toei, a supernatural thriller centred on a deadly curse, and The Musical Chairs from Thailand production company Raccoon Films, a mystery thriller linked to a chilling radio channel broadcast in Bangkok. Virginia Lim, Chief Content Officer, said this year's entries reflected both creativity and ambition, adding that Mediacorp remains committed to supporting bold ideas and meaningful partnerships that bring fresh stories to audiences.
