Westbound SR-54 to Southbound I-5 Connector Closed August 23

SAN DIEGO - Caltrans will close the westbound State Route 54 (SR-54) to the southbound Interstate 5 (I-5) connector on Sunday, August 23, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. for pavement work.

Motorists will be detoured via the northbound I-5 connector, exit at Miles of Cars Way/Bay Marina Drive, turn left, and then turn left on the southbound I-5 on-ramp.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
