Milling and Resurfacing on Route 57 in Weston

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a milling and resurfacing project will be performed on Route 57 in Weston. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, June 22 and be completed on Friday, July 24, 2026. The project DOT01730557CN consists of milling and resurfacing a 2.64 - mile segment of Route 57 in Weston from the Westport town line to Old Mill Road #1. This project is scheduled to begin milling by Burns Construction on Monday, June 22, to Monday June, June 29, 2026. The resurfacing segment of this project by O&G Industries is anticipated to begin on Thursday, July 9 to Friday, July 24, 2026.

This project is included in CTDOT's 2026 Vendor Resurfacing Program.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

Motorists can expect lane closures of Route 57 from the Westport town line to Old Mill Road #1 in Weston. Traffic control personnel and signing patterns will guide motorists through the work zone. The work schedule for this project is from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
