Arkansas Democrats Win Lawsuit Against Gov. Sanders & Secretary Of State Jester
LITTLE ROCK- Arkansas Democrats are releasing the following statement following a judge ruling in our favor for our petition for relief in House District 70.
Arkansas Democratic Party Chair Col. Marcus Jones said:
"The court's ruling today was a victory for Arkansas and the 30,000 residents of House District 70. The time has come for Governor Sanders to move up the Special Election dates and give the hardworking taxpayers of North Little Rock and Sherwood the representation they deserve.
The Democratic Party of Arkansas stands with Arkansans from across the political spectrum to oppose taxation without representation. Mark our words: We won't stop fighting for every Arkansan to have a say in our state budget."
