ATLANTA - State Representative Carmen Rice (R-Columbus) was recently nominated to serve as Georgia's representative at the Leadership Institute's "50 for 250 Celebration" and "Legisladies Retreat."
"This recognition is not about one person: it reflects the support, trust and partnership of so many people who believe in making a positive difference through service and leadership," said Rep. Rice. "Every day, I work to be a strong voice for our communities, our families, our students, our veterans and our taxpayers. I am so grateful for the opportunity to represent Georgia on the national stage and to continue working hard on behalf of the constituents who have entrusted me with this role."
Rep. Rice was nominated as one of 50 female legislators chosen from across the nation to participate in the event. The event will take place from June 28-30, 2026, in Arlington, Virginia.
