Cotality earns two top honors at the 2026 PropertyCasualty360 Insurance Luminaries Awards

The awards recognize individuals, teams and organizations for exceptional contributions to the property and casualty insurance industry

IRVINE, Calif., June 25, 2026 - Cotality™, a leading global property information, analytics, and data-enabled solutions provider, announced its Insurance Solutions team brought home two honors from the 2026 PropertyCasualty360 Insurance Luminaries Awards, a notable recognition for exceptional contributions to the insurance industry.

Jake Labrie, Executive Vice President, Insurance Solutions, North America was recognized as Executive of the Year, and the Hazard HQ Command CentralTM Team won Excellence in Catastrophe Response for the team's timely and informative response to the Los Angeles wildfires in January 2025. Earning multiple awards demonstrates the caliber of Cotality's leadership, and its critical role in creating a more people-centric insurance industry.

Inspired by his own experience with a devastating house fire, Labrie co-founded Accurence (now part of Cotality) to digitize and automate the fragmented property insurance claims process. He continues to pioneer technological innovations that streamline workflows as Executive Vice President of Cotality's Insurance Solutions group, and now, Property Casualty360's Executive of the Year. The innovations driven by Labrie enable automations that save time and allow industry professionals to focus more on empathy and customer care - putting people back at the center of the insurance claims process.

During the devastating Los Angeles wildfires in January 2025, Cotality's Hazard HQ Command Central team jumped into action and worked around the clock to bring actionable, understandable insights to media, insurers, and government agencies. Cotality's insights reached millions through countless media interviews and reporting. This far-reaching leadership helped insurers optimize response tactics while providing the public with a realistic, 360-degree understanding of the fire's impacts.

"I'm beyond proud of our team for earning these recognitions from PropertyCasualty360. Jake perfectly embodies our mission to focus on making the insurance industry more people-centric. By turning personal adversity into a breakthrough for workflow automation, he is giving claims professionals exactly what they need: the time to extend true empathy to people in challenging times," said Garret Gray, president of global insurance solutions at Cotality. "The Los Angeles wildfires impacted my family personally, but even amid that stress, I was inspired by how our team stepped up to provide the critical, contextual insights that helped the market understand the impact and speed responses. We have a world-class team at Cotality, and these recognitions continue to reinforce that."
