Thank you to everyone who participated in yesterday's election. The City of Madison is reviewing materials and preparing for the Municipal Board of Canvass on Friday.
Provisional voters have until 4:00 p.m. this Friday, August 14, to bring their acceptable photo ID to the City of Madison Clerk's Office. The Board of Canvassers will meet at 4:00 p.m. on Friday to count provisional ballots from voters who meet this deadline.
Acceptable Photo ID Includes:
- Wisconsin driver license or state ID (expired after 11/05/2024)
- U.S. passport (expired after 11/05/2024)
- Military ID (expired after 11/05/2024)
- Certificate of naturalization (issued within 2 years)
- Unexpired driver license or state ID receipt
- Tribal ID (any expiration)
- Unexpired university/college ID with required elements (if expired, proof of current enrollment is also needed)
- Unexpired Veterans Health Administration ID
- Citation or notice of intent to revoke/suspend a Wisconsin driver license (issued within 60 days)
Your ID does not need to show your current address.
