Outback Presents Announces Shane Shuhart As Senior Vice President Of Booking

Friday, October 3 - Today, Outback Presents - the leading independent, full-service promoter of live entertainment in North America - announces Shane Shuhart as Senior Vice President of Booking. He will work closely with Founder and Co-CEO Mike Smardak, President Andrew Farwell, and the booking team on servicing and expanding Outback's existing live entertainment business with focus on arenas and theatres.

With almost 30 years of experience, Shane Shuhart began his career in live music in New York in 1998 at the Agency for the Performing Arts (APA) before moving to Los Angeles in the year 2000, where he also worked as an agent at APA. He served as the territorial talent agent for APA's northeast region, handling bookings for the agency's major touring artists in that area.

While at Nederlander Concerts, as Director of Booking, where he booked and promoted live entertainment for venues such as the Grove of Anaheim, Greek Theatre, Hollywood Pantages Theatre, as well as third-party facilities throughout the Western United States.

Shane transitioned to Live Nation Entertainment's Philadelphia office as a Senior Talent Buyer in 2011, where he booked and promoted live entertainment at Live Nation's owned and operated amphitheaters, arenas, and other third-party venues throughout the PA/NJ region. Additionally, he oversaw booking at the Sands Event Center (Now Wind Creek-Bethlehem, PA) and The Pavilion at Montage (Scranton, PA). Shane also booked and co-produced the Peach Music Festival (2012-2016).

In 2017, Shane returned to Nederlander as Vice President of Booking/Programming and worked in a variety of properties across the country while focusing on Nederlander's core venues, including the Hollywood Pantages Theatre, San Jose Civic, City National Grove of Anaheim, Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles, and Greek Theatre.

Shane was instrumental in Drive-In OC outdoor concert series with over a hundred nights of programming during the pandemic with bookings such as a sold-out 10-show run of Kaskade, sold-out runs with Andrew McMahon, Gareth Emery, Nate Bargatze, and more. Recently, Shane is responsible for successful shows at Heart Health Park Sacramento- the sold-out festivals Swanfest and Punk in Drublic, sold-out performances of Sebastian Maniscalco at the Kia Forum and San Jose Civic, and sold-out shows at Vina Robles Amphitheatre including Bert Kreischer and Jim Gaffigan.
