Residents are invited to apply for the Mayor's Alfred Noble Task Force

The City of Livonia is inviting residents to apply for the new Mayor's Alfred Noble Task Force. This advisory body will play a key role in shaping the future of the former library site.

The Task Force will be charged with three primary goals:

  1. Making recommendations to the administration on potential future uses of the Alfred Noble site.
  2. Recommending opportunities for activation of the site, ensuring it serves the community in the near term while long-term plans are developed.
  3. Reviewing and recommending fundraising opportunities to support both short-term activation and future redevelopment of the site.

"This is an exciting opportunity for residents to be directly involved in charting the future of one of Livonia's community assets," said Mayor Brosnan. "We want voices at the table who are passionate about community, committed to collaboration, and eager to imagine what this space can become."

The City is seeking a diverse group of residents, community leaders, business representatives, and other stakeholders to serve. Applications are now open and will be accepted through Tuesday, Oct. 14.

Interested individuals can apply by completing the online form.
