“One Of Country Music’s Most Authentic Rising Voices” Wesko Performs on the Raised Rowdy Raw Sessions

Country maverick Wesko puts his stamp on the inaugural Raised Rowdy Raw Sessions with an acoustic performance of "By Way Of Alabama," showcasing what Raised Rowdy calls "one of country music's most authentic rising voices."

Released September 18 via Warner Records, Wesko's "By Way Of Alabama" was produced by Ryan Gore (Post Malone, Kacey Musgraves) and co-written by Wesko alongside KK Johnson, Sam Backoff and Joe Kirkland. With twangy guitars, warm keys and an unhurried groove, the road-worn love story tips its hat to Alabama, John Prine and Dolly Parton - all of which helped shape Wesko's own sound.

Raised in eastern North Carolina, Wesko took an unconventional road to Nashville, picking up his first guitar at 20 and teaching himself to write songs while working as an erosion control foreman. He's since earned an invitation from Luke Combs to perform at Concert For Carolina and recently wrapped runs with Warren Zeiders, Dwight Yoakam and ZZ Top, with new music on the horizon.
