Applications Now Open for Henderson Battle of the Bands

HENDERSON, Nev.(Jan. 14, 2026) -The City of Henderson's favorite music showdown is back! Now in its sixth year, Battle of the Bands invites musicians of all styles and genres to step into the spotlight and apply for a chance at cash prizes and future band bookings at the City's signature events. Applications will be accepted now until Feb. 20.

There will be two categories for entrants: One for bands whose members are all 20 years old and younger and one for bands with at least one member 21 or older.

The final battle will be held over two days at the Water Street Plaza Amphitheater, with the 20 and younger category competing Friday, March 27, and the 21 and older category competing on Saturday, March 28.

Each band must submit an entry performance video, and the top five bands from each category will be selected to perform at their respective final battles.

To qualify, bands must consist of two or more performers local to the Henderson or Las Vegas areas. Artists representing all genres of music are encouraged to apply.

The top three bands in the 21 or older category will be awarded the following cash prizes:

• First place: $1,500
• Second place: $750
• Third place: $350

The top three bands in the 20 and younger category will be awarded the following cash prizes:

• First place: $500
• Second place: $250
• Third place: $150
