The Bolivian capital, La Paz, hosted the "National Conference for the Analysis and Adjustment of the Framework Document for the Evaluation of Performance in the Judicial Career in Bolivia," which was attended by more than 300 representatives from the judicial system, civil society, and justice sector institutions. The conference was organized by the European project on the fight against organized crime managed by FIAP.

During the conference, proposals were discussed for the regulation of the judicial career and the performance evaluation manual for judges, key instruments for ensuring transparent and responsible judicial practice. These debates highlighted the importance of having solid regulatory tools that contribute to consolidating legal certainty and accessible justice for the entire Bolivian population.

During the seminar, the President of the Judicial Council, Dr. Manuel Baptista Espinoza, presented the final conclusions of the participatory process carried out in La Paz, emphasizing that "the transformation of Bolivian justice requires commitment, objective evaluation, and transparency; only in this way will we be able to regain the credibility and trust of the public."

The conference was attended by leading specialists, such as Ricardo Conde Díez, promoter of disciplinary action for the General Council of the Judiciary of Spain; Ignacio Acón Ortego, section head of the same body; and Rosa Evelyn Fermín Díaz, judge of the Civil and Commercial Chamber of the Court of First Instance of the National District, Dominican Republic.

Key Bolivian state institutions have also participated, including the Supreme Court of Justice, the Agro-Environmental Court, the Departmental Court of La Paz, the Indigenous and Peasant Court, the Attorney General's Office, and the Ministry of Justice and Institutional Transparency, as well as international organizations and cooperation agencies.

This set of activities represents a significant step toward the consolidation of a meritocratic, independent judicial career oriented toward serving the rights of Bolivian citizens.
