North Cowichan gives notice, pursuant to sections 24, 26 and 94 of the Community Charter that it intends to dispose of the Beverly Street Food Hub property to the Cowichan Green Community Foundation (with their right to assign to Cowichan Green Community Society) by way of fee simple property transfer for less than fair market value (2026 BC Assessment value of $645,200).
The property to be disposed of is located at 2431 Beverly Street, legally described as LOT 1 SECTION 19 RANGE 7 QUAMICHAN DISTRICT PLAN EPP35195 (PID: 029-237-424).
In consideration of the property transfer, the Cowichan Green Community Foundation (or their assignee) will pay North Cowichan ten ($10.00) dollars, and the Cowichan Green Community Foundation (or their assignee) will register an option to purchase on title to the property in favour of North Cowichan.
