The President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, together with the accompanying delegation, met with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, Denisa Saková.
The meeting underscored the positive momentum in the development of bilateral relations between Georgia and Slovakia across a range of sectors. Particular emphasis was placed on the potential for deepening sectoral cooperation and expanding trade and economic ties.
The parties also exchanged views on ongoing global political developments and the challenges facing their respective countries.
Special attention was devoted to the importance of the Middle Corridor and to Georgia's role within it.
The discussion also addressed relations between Georgia and the European Union.
