QazaqGaz Wins Silver at ELORDA CUP 2026

The QazaqGaz team finished second at the sixth annual ELORDA CUP 2026 five-a-side football tournament, held in Astana for teams representing government agencies and oil and gas companies.

The QazaqGaz team finished second at the sixth annual ELORDA CUP 2026 five-a-side football tournament, held in Astana for teams representing government agencies and oil and gas companies.

The tournament brought together 21 teams and more than 250 amateur footballers from across Kazakhstan.

QazaqGaz made its way through the competition to the final, where the team faced AVC Group. After a closely contested match, QazaqGaz secured the silver medal.

QazaqGaz player Doskhan Kabenov was also recognised as the tournament's top scorer.

Following the tournament, the team was received by Berik Yermakhanov, Head of the Administration, on behalf of QazaqGaz management. He congratulated the players on their strong performance and highlighted the importance of such events in fostering team spirit and corporate culture, as well as promoting a healthy lifestyle.

This year's tournament also carried a strong social message. ELORDA CUP was dedicated to supporting children with special needs, bringing participants together around the values of mutual support, social responsibility and inclusion.
