GWP Launches No Cost Home Energy & Water Upgrade Program for Residents
Glendale, CA - Glendale Water & Power (GWP) is proud to launch its new Home Energy & Water Upgrade Program designed to help single-family and multi-family residents improve home comfort, reduce utility costs, and conserve valuable resources at no cost to eligible participants.
The program provides a comprehensive home efficiency assessment and installations of energy and water saving measures. Administered by Synergy on behalf of GWP, the initiative reflects the City's ongoing commitment to sustainability and customer support.
Program Benefits
Eligible residents may receive a range of no-cost upgrades such as water heater wraps, weatherization improvements, occupancy sensors, ceiling fans, efficient lighting, and water-saving devices. These measures will reduce energy and water usage and improve overall home comfort. Customers will also receive information on additional rebates and incentive programs to support further upgrades and long-term savings.
Additional Support for Income-Qualified Customers
Residents enrolled in the Glendale Care bill discount program may qualify for enhanced upgrades, including attic insulation, whole house fans, and additional lighting improvements, further increasing the savings and comfort.
How the Program Works
Participation is simple. Residents can schedule an appointment by calling (800) 818-4298. A trained Synergy specialist will conduct an in-home assessment and install the eligible upgrades listed above during the same visit.
Residents are encouraged to schedule an appointment while the program is available. For more information, please contact Glendale Water & Power at GlendaleCA.gov/HomeUpgradeProgram.
