Suspected Homicide Investigation in Laconia, New Hampshire

Concord, NH - Attorney General John M. Formella announces that members of the Attorney General's Office and members of the New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit have responded to a report of a suspected homicide in Laconia, New Hampshire.

Officers of the Laconia Police Department were called to a home on Old Prescott Hill Road this afternoon in Laconia, New Hampshire, where they discovered an adult female resident deceased inside the home.

All known parties have been identified, and this incident does not appear at this time to have any connection to the ongoing suspicious death investigation at South Main Street earlier today. The name of the deceased will be released following notification of next of kin, and an autopsy will be scheduled by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

Additional information is anticipated to be available late this evening or during the overnight hours.
