On 12 May 2026, Mrs. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, attended the opening ceremony of the photography exhibition entitled "Trait d'Union - Connecting Thailand - France Relations in Everyday Life," held in celebration of the 170th anniversary of Thailand - France diplomatic relations together with H.E. Mr. Jean-Claude Poimboeuf, Ambassador of the French Republic to Thailand; Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Bangkok Governor; Ms. Somrudee Poopornanake, Acting Director-General of the Department of European Affairs; and representatives from partner organisations, including B.Grimm Power PCL., Thai Beverage PCL., Anantara Koh Yao Yai Hotel, and Sofitel Bangkok Sukhumvit Hotel.
Awards and certificates were presented at the opening ceremony to photographers whose 30 photographs were selected for the exhibition at the Auditorium Hall, 5th Floor, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC). The public is invited to visit the exhibition free of charge at the Gallery, 3rd Floor, Bangkok Art and Culture Centre, from now until 24 May 2026 (the BACC is closed on Mondays).
