Upcoming Planned Roadwork for Northeast Missouri, March 30 - April 10, 2026

HANNIBAL - The following is a list of general highway maintenance work the Missouri Department of Transportation has planned in the Northeast Missouri region for the next few weeks.

All road closures and planned roadwork may be viewed on the Traveler Information Map at http://traveler.modot.org/map/.

Inclement weather may cause schedule changes in some of the planned work. There may also be moving operations throughout the region, in addition to the work mentioned below. MoDOT asks drivers to work with us by buckling up, putting your phone down, slowing down and moving over in work zones.

Macon County

Route F - April 6, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repairs from Route J to Eureka Place between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Route F - April 7 - 8 & 10, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repairs from Eureka Place to Missouri Route 149 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Marion County

U.S. Route 61 (Northbound) - April 7 - 10, LANE RESTRICTION for core drilling operations from Huckleberry Drive to Route MM between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. daily.

Missouri Route 168 - April 1, CLOSED for culvert replacement operations from Route C to Breckenridge Avenue in Palmyra between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Route K - April 6 - 9, CLOSED for patching operations from U.S. Route 36 to Route C between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.

Route CC - April 10, CLOSED for patching operations from Route K to Route Z between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Montgomery County

I-70 North Outer Road - April 6 - 8, CLOSED for patching operations from Route F at High Hill to the Warren County line, east of Jonesburg, between 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily.

Route V - April 9 - 10, CLOSED for patching operations from Missouri Route 161 to Route E between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.

Ralls County

Route J - March 13 - June 6, LANE RESTRICTION for bridge maintenance from Route EE continuing south to the end of the Clarence Cannon Dam bridge beginning Friday, March 13th at 7:00 a.m. through Friday, June 5th at 4:00 p.m. However, the bridge will be open to traffic beginning at 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 22nd until 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 26th for the Memorial Day weekend.

Scotland County

Route N - April 7, CLOSED for asphalt pavement repairs from Route K to Route H between 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Route Z - April 6, CLOSED for patching operations from the Iowa state line to Route H between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Work with us in the work zone! Please remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel. With an increased number of highway work zones in Missouri, we urge all drivers to pay attention every second while driving, especially through a work zone. Be informed of your route by checking the MoDOT Traveler Information Map before you leave to see if you will encounter any work zones.
