ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - Louis-Company, LLC, in coordination with the Missouri Department of Transportation, is working on a project to replace the deck of the Mercer County U.S Route 136 Grand River Overflow Bridge, west of Princeton. The contractor is nearing completion of the south side of the bridge and plans to switch traffic on September 14 and 15 to begin construction on the north side. The project was scheduled to be completed by October 2026, but due to contractor delays, the bridge is now expected to reopen in mid-November 2026.
