Cumberland/Gloucester/Salem Vicinage to Hold Opening of Court and Memorial Ceremony

The Cumberland/Gloucester/Salem Vicinage, in partnership with the bar associations of Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem counties, will hold its annual Opening of Courts Ceremony and Memorial Service for members and former members of the bar association who passed away during the prior court years.

A ceremony will be held Tuesday, Sept. 8 in ceremonial courtroom 312 of the Cumberland County Courthouse, 60 W. Broad St., Bridgeton.

The Salem ceremony will be held Thursday, Sept. 10 in ceremonial courtroom A228 of the Salem County Courthouse, 92 Market St., Salem.

The Gloucester event will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 29 in ceremonial courtroom 200 of the Gloucester County Old Courthouse, 1 N. Broad St., Woodbury.

Each ceremony will begin at 3:30 p.m.

Assignment Judge Benjamin C. Telsey will preside over the ceremonies, and the president of each bar association will speak and preside over the respective memorial service.

A reception hosted by the bar association will follow the ceremony.
