PASADENA, Calif - The City of Pasadena's Rent Stabilization Department (RSD) continues its community-based outreach with the second Chats & Snacks with a Housing Counselor event, taking place Saturday, April 26, at the Santa Catalina Branch Library, 999 E. Washington Blvd.
This free, drop-in series connects Pasadena residents directly with Housing Counselors in their own neighborhoods, removing the need for appointments or travel to the RSD office. Residents can stop by anytime between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to ask housing questions, talk through their concerns, and connect with resources, all in a relaxed setting with complimentary snacks and refreshments.
Following a successful inaugural event in February at La Pintoresca Library, the series now expands to District 2, with Councilmember Rick Cole and District 2 Liaison Megheti DerBoghossian joining the event to welcome residents and support this community-based initiative.
To serve District 2's diverse community, the April 25 event will offer multilingual support with English and Spanish-speaking Housing Counselors and Armenian translation services provided by Translations4all.
