The Stage Is Set for Fiddler on the Roof JR. Opening Night

Opening night is almost here, and behind the scenes, the excitement is real. Costumes are being straightened, lines are getting one last run-through, and the cast is getting ready to step out under the lights.

Happy Lane Children's Theater is bringing Fiddler on the Roof JR. to the stage starting this Wedneday, and these young performers have been putting in the work to make it something special. Set in the village of Anatevka, the story follows Tevye, a humble milkman, as he navigates family, tradition, and change while raising his five daughters.

From rehearsals to set building, it's been a full team effort. For some of the cast, this is their first big production. For others, it's another chance to do what they love. Either way, there's a lot of heart going into this show, and it shows.

It's a great introduction to musical theatre for all ages, with memorable characters, lively music, and a story that still feels meaningful today. Most of all, it's a chance to come out and support local youth as they take the stage. This show runs Wednesday through Friday night for a limited time, so be sure to catch it while you can.
