New SNAP toolkit reminds people what life changes to report

New SNAP toolkit reminds people what life changes to report

The Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS) has a new Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) toolkit to help people report life changes and keep their food benefits accurate.

We know SNAP can feel complicated. These new resources explain what to report and when-so people can get the right amount of benefits and avoid unexpected repayment.

The toolkit covers common updates like changes to income, household members and housing costs.

What's included:

  • Easy-to-read flyers
  • A simple card to help track income reporting
  • Coming soon: short videos in English and Spanish

All materials are designed to be clear, visual and available in multiple languages.

You can find them on the ODHS/OHA Publications and Form Server (search for 1366000) and on the ONE Eligibility System partner resources page.
